Peddling from Greenwich through Deptford.
Mega side winds blasting round corners and in between buildings.
Despite my primary position the bin wagon that has been hugging my back wheel for a mile decides to go for the overtake, just as the road narrows .
So I get squeezed into the gutter with all the wet leaves and metal works, not a major problem but, then a blast of wind nails me and blows me straight into the side of the bin wagon that is pinching me out.
I hit the wagon with my right shoulder and just about manage to keep it upright.
Hit the brakes.
Pull over.
Heart in mouth.
Guts in bibs.

S'windy.
Go easy out there
