No she was a very vegan vegan, bees made the honey so therefore it was a product of animals, also i think the fact that I/humans had 'stolen' the honey from the bees was a moot point. exploitation of animals etc....then a huge line of the bolivian marching was proffered [not by myself] and taken [by self same vegan lady] and i was like.......

knew someone with a similar take on honey - "it's exploitative to take honey that the bees have to work to make".
pehaps she thought "worker bees" implies that they are socialists.
tried to explain that they are already exploited by a heriditary monarch for whom they make food, raise her kids and are kept sterile so as to do a better job for her. she didn't get it.
