Went to the British Museum today with a timed entry ticket only to realise I'd forgot my lock. The BM security guards were very unhelpful, firstly laughing at me when I asked if they had a room or something I could keep it in, then telling me the racks outside were safe enough for me to leave my bike there without locking it.
I went to Evans on Rathbone Place with the intention of borrowing or buying another lock and they just told me to leave my bike there and pick it up later. Impressed by them again, I felt bad that they had no metal toe clips in stock as I felt I really should buy something to repay them. Ah well!
