You can, but I'm not going to. For aero reasons, I wish I'd got the original ones without the bump which they had to recall because some triathletes fell off in the wet. For a short distance rider like me, the grip coming out of the start is probably worth more time than the tiny advantage of making them lighter. Weight weenies should go for the Mk2 anyway.
