Looking for a lopro to run fixed, but as im 5'8''ish i think it might be a little too big. anyone know if it would throw the geometry too far out if i stuck a 650c fork and wheel on this?
-
• #10
You wouldn't want to run a 650c Fork on this, and it will unfortunately be a bit too big for you, unless you have monkey arms!
-
• #11
Very nice indeed... great prices too.

If only it didn't have the cable guides.....
Rear drop out width?

Lovely frame, who cares about the braze ons? never know, you might decide you want to use it for some TTs in the future....
I would interest the Turbo if it comes to a split.
Wishbone seatstay is lush.

Which DA post is that, 7400 or 7410? I am looking for 7410 in 27.2mm just in case...
-
• #17
It is not a Dura-Ace Post. Sorry if that wasn't very clear.
-
• #18
I'll add for the 20th time: that's gorgeous and a bargain..
-

I've never wanted a lo-pro before now....keep expecting to read this thread to see that the frame is sold.
-
• #20
Tel, 2012 is the 2nd coming of the LoPro - get involved!
-
• #21
Argh don't!
Just had another look trying to find a reason not to buy it and noticed that it's too big for me but then when was the last time I brought a bike to ride instead of just to build and sell on???
No, no, no I'm out.
(There's an ignore thread button somewhere isn't there?)

but look at the wish bone, so slender and delicate.... imagine how rapid you'd be with all that steely aero-ey goodness.... and those brakes!
-
• #23
Wish bone does it for me, brakes would not be on it....omg I'm building it in my head. STOP NOW....leave me alone!
And as for rapid well unless it's off a cliff no one would ever describe me as fast.

• #24
what group you thinking Tel?
what wheelset?
Everyone needs a selfish project now and then.. I've got 3...

I kind of wish the stable was a little less cluttered cos this is all kind of awesome.
