Dan, is there a decent dry slope around brum? I'm going snowboarding in the Cairngorms in February and would like to have session to get used to it again (if it's steep enough to actually make it challenging)

There's Ackers Trust, but it's not very good. I've never snowboarded on dry slope. I wouldn't worry about 'getting used to it' again. I learned snowboarding regular, before starting skating and realising I was actually goofy, then going back a year later, and picking it back up almost immediately.
