Based on my analysis of that thread etc., but not on personal experience, I'd go for a Magicshine MJ-872 with the Openlight 17.4Ah battery, which does 8h at full (1600lm) power, which in theory should be 12h at >1000lm if there's a power setting for that, because battery life tends to be longer at lower drain and emitter efficiency is higher at lower current. £250 here. If you really wanted to throw money at the problem, you might get more lm.h out of a given battery by adding more emitters, so double up on the lamp heads and run each at a lower setting to get more total light for a given battery drain.
