Is the logic for having the top tube horizontal and so unbelievably low, to lower the bike's centre of gravity? If so how much can a TT weigh?

Or is it so you can stack stuff on top more easily?

I get that it's never gonna look pretty, but why would you have soooo much exposed steerer and seat post? Do you need the extra seat post space for storage? Surely a sloping TT would be the sensible route?

Or am I missing something?

That you are - notice the reach.

I could go for a bigger frame, but that'd mean I have to flip the stem 180 degree horizontally to get the right reach...
