Hi, I'm interested in the bike, and so have a couple of Q's :
- What's the top tube centre to centre ?
- Are the gears indexed ?
- Do the wheels run true ?
- Is the main frame colour silver or gold - can't quite make it out from the photo, thanks, Ben

Saw you're looking for a 58 cm touring bike to replace yours. I still have this one, trying to get rid of it:

Sadly I'm about 5 inches too tall for your beautiful bike!
EDIT: I posted 56cm, but I remember it feeling like a tall 56, for what it's worth.

Oh crumbs... dibs!

ive been meaning to ask (since im new here)what does dibs stand for ?
-

It's an English children's term for when you want something and want to seal the deal quickly before actually confirming the details.
So here the idea would be that you post "dibs" so everyone else knows you're in there first. Then you follow up with a PM.
The problem often comes when people just go around saying "dibs" without following up with a PM, or then offering below the asking price, or just asking a million questions. None of which is a problem in themselves but kinda pointless, when you've just said you want the item infront of anyone else. Which is why lots of people say no dibs.
PM's are usually the safest.
edit - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dibs - says it better

And incidentally, I dibsed, followed up with a PM, and accepted the asking price.
