Yeah, I wanted a carbon fork on it. Not really for any reason but struggled to find one that had the look and you could mount a brake on.
I know what your saying tho! It did ride well at the minidrome I will give it that

what kind of brakes?
You can get second hand fork for less, I got the same Easton as Austin for a lots less than asking price, the downside is that it's second hand;

Its more there isn't much in the 2nd hand market. I was after a alpina but they all seem to be brakeless recently and you can't drill them.
I thought I had found a cervelo carbon fork but it was 1" steerer. grrrr
Just gonna keep looking. -

Just gonna keep looking.Cyclocross fork are recommended due to the length being closer to the original, track/road fork will lower the front end a LOTS, it'll make a noticable difference.
You'd need at least 415mm length.

il probably go with something like a gatorskin, i trust gatorskins.
i won't be doing anything like that either apart from the odd curb here and there.
if u trust gator skin go for a 28c hardshell for the back its pretty good strong and i dont think the weight really matter
it's one of those thing you won't notice until you tried a different fork out really.
(and I rode it as a fixed wheel roadie).
