yeh thats how i spent christmas

  • hippy I hate sewing..

yeah, it reminds you of your ancesters, sewing potatoe sacks

  • Went to Australia by choice, we did. Granddad was too talented for this little island.
Now they've sent me back just to take your money and drink your beer.. haha twat!

  • shazza and i went out and about.

    it was quite good really.

a lot of the roads in westminster were closed to traffic but the police let us through so we had the streets to ourselves !

how cool is that. it felt like someone had put out the red carpet for us.

went for a pint in the jon snow. only two other cyclists there. neither fixed.

then we went to the embankment to see the fireworks. no success. just too many people. i did see one other fixie on the strand just before midnight. he had gold wheels and was havin a right laugh weaving through the revellers - looking very happy with himself.

so then we hacked over to st pauls cathedral and drank champagne in the rain.

and home. we even got back in to my local for a night cap. another classic night out in london.

  • coming to london from chicago and will be around during new years. wondering if there are any big street festivals or main events that a tourist should go to. also wondering about a good location to stay that night... trying to book a hostel but not sure what a good location would be. any help is appreciated

  • To win Keirin race, it trains.

    Sleeps a lot.

                                      AND

I hope the new year will bring you good luck and happiness.

    Ride safe!!

  • Not being a London dweller, where's good to go for NYE clubbing?

Most big nights are sold out now but I'm looking at Basing House and Tief. However they are £25 in.

Any recommendations? Where did you go last year?

  • Beyer and Slam are playing Fabric.

  • fabric's £40 now though which is a shame

  • I prefer to do house party on the eve and then go to a NYD party. It's always a cheaper option. Usually trashier. Both good aspects.
