that's what I assumed too, but I was sort of hoping somebody who'd actually given them a go would be able to say otherwise. The last set of brass cleats I bought didn't last more than 2 months .. very little sole so they scraped along the floor. New shoes for christmas should sort that out though :)
I bought the single sided atac pedals anyway (5 quid more than a set of cleats alone, surely can't go wrong) so if the steel cleats come up again I'll buy a pair and thrash em out with the old aliums to see what damage they do. Might end up being a nice surprise if both wear well.
