So fluid in his movement. Even without the big tricks I'd enjoy watching him.

I've stolen these videos from a post on another forum as it stopped me in my tracks.
I saw the first of these videos when it was released last year, the second passed me by for a couple of months before I saw a link to it. The third was put online a few days ago.
Dane Searls died in November, 7 days after riding the line in the third video.
The fact he was only 23 years old makes me really feel for his friends and family.BMX as a whole lost something special when he died.

Awesome vids Em, such a tragic waste of life...

And the idea that to compete you just have to be a complete nut-job who is prepared to risk life and limb is just stupid
He shunned competition to go and build his own massive jumps and rode them for himself. To me that is BMX.

How did he die? Not that it matters, just curious.
I think it's great. I don't think mankind makes any advances without calculated risk and people willing to take them. And it doesn't matter to me that this is BMX and isn't going to deliver a cure for cancer or anything daft, that the spirit exists and allows people to push themselves and what's possible forward is why we have bikes that go off-road at all, and do all kind of stupid fun shit.

Pool dive at a party that went wrong... he was onto something with the backyard shredding, such a shame.
But yeah, definitely a fearless fellow, RIP.

Going to have to agree to disagree on this one as I really can't link what he was doing with the usual look at me BS that some BMX riders go for.
Anyway, it's another day so have another video.
This one's all smooth technical riding, hope you enjoy. -

Here's a light hearted section from the Twobyfour DVD.
Twobyfour is a shop owned by Van Homan which organises a shit ton of jams, event, Street BBQ's and the like.
In short, it's a proper community BMX shop run by a pro for the love of BMX first. Two by Four - Cody Jennings part - YouTube
It should be noted that Cody is a drunk hick.
P.S. if anyone ever orders anything from this shop I want one of their trucker caps.

Can't remember this being posted before but it's worth watching.
This is not a video full of tricks.
This is a short documentary about Niki Croft dealing with the aftermath of being in a coma.

Aitken was always good to watch but nothing could have made the BMX press happier than seeing him back on a bike shredding after that accident. Nails.
Another rider I've always liked is Mike Taylor.
