Anyway, listen. This thread is for something else, not this discussion, and so I'm withdrawing.

it's been established already why it's a male only ad.

Of the auditions which have already taken place women seem to have outnumbered men by 8 to 1. Looks like they're just trying to achieve parity, not exclude. Ads placed 3 weeks ago addressed the shortage of male volunteers. Doesn't stop anyone from applying though.
