Ha! She was considered for that thread a long time ago but ended up on the cutting room floor sadly. Unfortunately it seems CB rarely Slains horses around in commuter wear...

So you mean Clive didn't win it???
Someone mis-spelled his name?

Good result, but that show was awful, BBC went all ITV for the night. Embarrassingly bad presenting. They could have handed over to Cav a bit better before his acceptance speach.

Awesome, I can't even watch it... but great to know that Cav won.

Manx Telecom would like to thank all those who voted last night, profits have risen by 80%.

I don't agree with this whole sports personality just being another vehicle for the telecoms company and bbc to make more money. Why can't you vote on line, for example?
But well done to Cav for winning and it was a great, heart felt speech he made :)

I didn't see any wanking. I was watching Black Mirror. Actually episode 2 inferswanking but that's another matter.
Implies.

The most entertaining thing about it was Giles "Obvious troll is obvious" Coren reeling in idiots on Twitter with "I've never heard of Mark Cavendish" statements.

They stopped it years ago when Beckham got red-carded and someone launched a bug that made every vote made to anyone other than Beckham actually a vote for Beckham.

Cav is due to appear on Top Gear soon.. if given the chance I'd thump jeremy clarkson or cut him up on the road show him how dangerous his comments have been in recent months..

Well done Cav!

Just seen the voting break down. In a twelve horse race, Cav got over forty nine percent of the votes.
Boom.

And so he should! Cycling is a far tougher sport then some of the sports I could mention! Absolutely well deserved Cavendish!

He's dull as dishwater but he's from the Isle of Man which means he's almost disabled so fair play
I think having an ex page 3 bird for a Mrs has brought him into the limelight for most of the berks in this country obsessed by celebrity
