I've fitted a front wheel in the fork, clearance with a 23-622 (700 * 23c ) Continental is 1.2 cm. Not sure whether this will be enough however judging by dehumber post it will not fit a 27".
I can throw in a brandnew KMC singlespeed chain and two new links as well as I will not be using it.
