1950 Claud Butler was really nice... a bit too small for me. Sold it to someone on here who has kept it baremetal.http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/7304/dsc000772.jpg
1957 Dawes was really nice and I used it as a commuter/hack for a couple of years (with some modern wheels and singlespeed), but it was way too small for me - I ended up getting a long MTB seatpost in it which made the saddle-bar drop not very comfortable over long distances, even with the very tall stem. The best bit was that all the components were stamped 'Dawes' - the stem, the bars, the brake hoods, the brake calipers, even the grommets that sat over the exposed brake cables (and you thought that Gore invented them recently!).Really nice details on that bike:

My first proper bike, a Mercian, bought 2nd hand,
Sold to buy my second, a Condor, also 2nd hand,
Sold to buy my third and first brand new, a Woodrup,
Which was stolen
I regret losing them all.
Now I can afford it, the old ones hang in my garage. I may not ride them much but I won't sell them. -

Pogliaghi custom made for Ole Ritter. Let it go for about 150 pounds
Can't tell anything more about it. Too painful

Oh, this one?
I regret letting this size 55 Banani go, actually wasn't my size, about 2-3 cm's too small but it had some of the most beautiful details I've seen on one of my own bikes. SLX tubing.

The full size three speed that I converted to 406 wheels and let go of at the age of 10 while riding down a steep bumpy hill. I regret letting go of that one.

^ Some nice rides there, Scopewulf. DMR and a SS Kona are also on my list of sold cycles too... a ruined ankle forced the sale of DMR, slight regret with that one- but now I'm a little older I appreciate my ankles and mobility.
i'm sorry i didn't buy you when J_Rok let you go
Where ever you are Echo, I hope your being treated well. I have to build another trials bike. Have to.

A Harry Hall 'Elan' frame. Cost me £139.99 back in 1984. Was marketed as a 'Racing' frame with mudguard eyes, so you could use it all year round. Everytime I got a bit of overtime, I used to spend it on upgrading various parts: drive train, wheels, gears etc. It was a great bike.
Sold it in 2004 for £200. When the guy came to buy it, he took one look and handed over the money without a word. His wife said, 'Aren't you going to haggle?' By the time she had finished her sentence, he was half way down the street...
Looking back on some old photos and found this..damn i regret selling this frame.
Anyone else regret letting a bike or frame go?
