It's like any game where there are a lot of people involved, there will always be politics and differences of opinion, I'm afraid.
The thing is once you get better (and you were improving really fast which is why I think it's a shame you're leaving) there will be less of this, and if you kept coming to Souths you'd eventually find that this is one of the most fun, supportive amazing community and sport.
People do take polo seriously, but that's because they're passionate about it and when you progress, this turns in to a much more positive thing and is nothing but enjoyable.
I'm sorry you feel this way Tails, it definitely gets better.
