HI Tom
I have a nice Shimano Tiagra rear mech 9-speed
£20 -

9 speed is getting so cheap now U might as well buy new.
From RIBBLE for example you can get a BBB 9 speed 13-25 cassette(£19.40), SORA 9 speed rear derailleur(£12.76) and an HG53 chain(10.36) total £42.52 posted!
They also do new Tiagra 10 speed derailleur's for a shade under £25You can also buy a new SORA compact chainset from them for an additional £33.56
Whilst you're after Tiagra level, for a winter bike why spend more? I cant see any point buying 2nd hand at those prices.

I have Tiagra F and R mechs, new. Came off 9 speed but work fine with 10.
Also have cassette and chain somewhere, used for less than 100 miles. I'm in west Lon
Cheers,
Gav
Hello,

I want to upgrade a worn drivetrain on an old winter road bike. Does anyone have some of the following please (or nearest equivalent) in fairly decent condition – Shimano Tiagra level or above – I don’t mind if it’s mix-and-match.

Square taper Compact Chainset with rings (e.g. 34/50) – 170mm.
9-speed Shimano-compatible rear derailleur
9-speed rear cassette - 12/25 or 27
Chain to suit.

Or if anyone has good 10-speed stuff I might be tempted

I can pay by PayPal (or whatever).
