Why? What's the difference between that and the one on this:

I don't know what the difference is between these specific ones, but I've only ever had trouble with these older, more simple connectors. I don't know about the one that mdcc_tester posted, but I assume that it's NJS and can barspin. I do know that the one I posted works extremely well for me.

(I should declare an interest as SKS sent it to me for free:

SKS. The rubber seal in the valve head on my Rennkompressor pump was worn out. I e-mailed them asking how to get a new seal and they immediately replied to say they'd send me the new multivalve head free of charge. It arrived asap. Great customer service.

I forgot to say that they sent it from Germany, too--postage cost €6.

It's still a very good piece of equipment. The SKS valve head replaced by this one hadn't worked well at all, so it was a complete turnaround.
