A friend of mine recently got his bike written off by a driver, she has accepted full reliability etc.
He just needs to get a valuation of his bike over to the insurers, but at the minute is having difficulty.
Is the value in what it would cost to replace, it's value before the crash?
He has had it into a shop to value and the valuation seems very low, the spec of the bike is pretty high end - DA 7600/BJ custom frame etc.
He just wants a proper valuation, so he can get something as good as quick as poss. I've said I'd try to help him. Please let me know any tips/pointers.
