the chainline for my goldtec's with the sram omnium is off
so would like a nice pair of hubs where the front can be used with a pit lock, as i tend to lock rear wheel and frame together its the front wheel that needs a secure locking system
what would people suggest? as the intention is to keep the hubs for a long time durability/robustness is important - ideally sealed bearings as its for use on the road
Have you tried reversing the sprocket? Not sure if it works, and it won't help the GDP, but if it does you've just saved yourself the £200 you were about to drop on a pair of Phils.
finally got round to changing chainring, sprocket and chain today. the sprocket can't be reversed, is there a washer that i might be able to use to ensure the sprocket is not in contact with the spokes?
otherwise am thinking of using a 3/32 sprocket with 1/8 chainring and chain, to allow a little more play at the rear end
