Early news release, does this make anyone wet with excitement? Is it just an elongated Bike Week in all but name? Could it be the tipping point that leads to Dutch cycling levels in the UK?

No, perhaps and doubtful.

But, it's certainly something positive and hopefully it will be embraced by everyone. Admittedly, it is a very simple idea but it might encourage more people to cycle regularly.

I can say that as an organisation who is involved with this, there are some fantastic things in place for the campaign on a regional and national level.
