Peter Kay is one of the most versatile home grown comedians we have, you may not like his style but he has talent to burn.
Very few comedians can make it today without being offensive or shocking, Kay is a breath of fresh air, like the good old days with the ronnie barker, Eric morcombe etc

I was only being contrary. Of course he's good (despite him being maybe too "populistic" for my taste, but then I'm not English nor a Northerner) and I'm surprised that it took a whole day for someone to stand up for him. Or is it because I'm being ignored? :-)
