I don't do Christmas. My family are used to it by now, so they know not to get me anything. I'll go to the folk's house and treat it like Sunday lunch, and i'll go for a run while they are all doing the present opening thing.
The pressure to buy stuff still gets to me, but making the decision to say to everyone "I'm not getting you anything, and please don't give me anything." is very liberating.
