Leon
It looks marvellous. I have a 531 SL track frame, which is dead light and has seatstays that go really thick in the middle like yours. I'd be all over it if I could justify another frame. I love this tubeset. Super Awesome.ps Is that Regal in your flickr set available? I like it...

Though sad to see this project not come to completion...however the forthcoming purchase of Hammo's Condor Pista requires it to be done....but i am not going to give it a way...just trying to recoup my outlay......though a part exchange of sorts might be acceptable...items plus cash...eg Sugino 75 cranks etc.
These are work in progress pics take by the very kind Colnago_Costa....the frame is complete and i wish to sell as my plans have changed somewhat....if anyone want further pics please ask
Key details....the frame dates from the 1980s and was built by Mile Mullett who was Gerald O'Donovan's second in charge at Raleigh's Ilkeston SBDU....he is a well respected frame builder.
I bought this frame from Hilary earlier in the year and had it resprayed by Mario Vaz in canary yellow...i got the Decals...Mike Mullett and 531SL fron Nick Tithcott and Colnago Costa kindly and very carefully attached them.....the frame was then laquered.....this was done in July and the frame has not been touched since...kept in a nice warm room....so is pristine and the paint has fully cured.....the pics do not so show that the dropouts are [a] vertical and ** cromed and in good condition.
The frame take brakes with alan key bolts and the rear spacing is 126mm and also comes with two gear lever bosses.
[B]
Seat tube: C2C=53cm & C2T=54CM
Top tube: C2C=53CM** **
Brake drop: 39-49mm
Head tube: Top to bottom=12cm**
No dents or dings...no rust...all threads are clean
Also included is a Tange headset and a Shimano band on front mech...but i have virtually everything to build a complete bike except the wheels and tyres!
I am having a major clear out
531SL is rare and this frame is in excellent condition....all i want to do is get my money back....so i'm asking for £180 posted or £170 collected
