Cornballs and I dropped off the Rolla sound system last night. The speakers are large, James was very relaxed about things, this has the makings of a good night...

Was looking forward to this, now in two minds as an old mate from overseas (who I haven't seen in over a year) is dropping in on me out of the blue.

Why is it nearly always the case that in a month of no social commitments, suddenly 2 or 3 things come along and you can put money on them all being on the same bloody night?!

So lovely to see so many great people I haven't seen for ages. Great music, top company, good night.

apologies to everyone, for not being more sociable, this cold was kicking my ass. If it hadn't been south's christmas party I would have sacked it and gone home to feverishly sweat out this lurgy infesting me.

Many thanks to those who took the time out to have words with my niece, she said she had a good time, but she's a teenager, everything is changeable.

Big thanks to Marky, for helping grab and move the sound system and playing a spanking set from what little i could hear from my sofa upstairs - which was a life saver..

Also big thanks to the other dj's last minute doubletap, alby and the grooves.

Got to do this more often, off to bed with a hot toddy and an invitation to hallucination/fever town...
