BBC 3 'Changemakers'. (2002). - YouTube
apparently he's cleared 10,000+ mines with just a spade and a multitool. actual hero.

It puts everything in perspective - like X Factor winners and Chelsea footballers.

Good post, I haven't seen that film.
He also cares for number of children injured by mines and runs a museum to help campaign against mines. He is not allowed to carry out mine clearance anymore, but helps to set of schemes where other people clear the areas they live or work in.
Genuine hero. http://edition.cnn.com/SPECIALS/cnn.heroes/archive10/aki.ra.html -

This is usually the one stair which is to high up when I have my vacuum cleaner plugged in downstairs, so I can't really reach it properly. And then, when I swap the socket for the one upstairs, it's too low and it never gets hoovered properly.

Hoover placed on the stairs makes me angry. As much as changing sheets on a kingsize bed I can't access from the other side. Or opening a paperback book over 300 pages thick right in the middle.
Que?
