• Do a few sessions on the rollers though and see what difference it makes, I went from mid pack to very fast through by doing short intervals on a turbo. I can get it back* fairly quickly too with a week or two's worth of TT sessions.

    • Not at the moment as I am recovering from a discectomy op & I can barely walk let alone cycle yet.........soon though.

    I normally do 30sec spins as fast as possible on the rollers during the race season, not really a normal part of my training and I'm not sure if it gives much benefit for racing, but it's just something else to do. Haven't actually measured my cadence though. Might train a bit and give it a go - would be interesting to see if I do alright given that I never trained for any roller race I've done.
