With 18 weeks to go official marathon training started today with a 5 mile tempo run.
5 Miles, 34min44secs average 6.56min miles.
3x2 mile tomorrow for breakfast.
Still slightly worried about my plan and if it's sufficient to get me round in my target time, but i'm pretty much at my fittest ever now so hopefully slowly building up to running 21-22 miles and for longer than my target time I should be fine.
This combined with my knowledge from my previous attempt should put me in a good place!
