No you don't you daft bugger. If it's raining that hard the work will be cancelled. Pair of SealSkinz and some overshoes and you will be more waterproofed than your colleagues; or your clients. Doesn't do not to realise how cold the trainees are because you are wrapped up in all the proper gear.
Spare childrens' gloves from the 99p store, though, will save many a day for the little darlings who are without.
