Did something very similar last year on Theobalds, following a motorbike, going for a gap down the outside, who bottled it at the last second. Cos I checked over the shoulder I misjudged exactly where the van I was passing was. Clipped it and smashed the rear light cluster with my hand. Never did get a call from the driver, probably cos of all the blood on the bit of paper I wrote my details down on.
