Functional bikes. Not Porn not Anti

Last week my roommate Paul went mountain biking in Bend, Oregon. On their trip they met this guy Jeff. Enamoured with his bike, Paul took a few pictures and talked with him some. Guy said it was an old prototype and was out for a spin.

It was only later that they thought that Jeff was possibly Jeff Jones of www.jonesbikes.com.

EDIT: Turns out it wasn't JJ. Just someone who built a fork exactly like Jones is known for.

Interesting point of note - he told Paul that this needed to have a load on the front or it to feel right, and in fact his load was this and 2 front panniers. Hard to say but points to a low-trail setup.
