I suppose I should say UTFS but in the spirit of the season, there are many ways of converting to ss/fix, some are remarkably easy.

How much too wide is the hub?
Most road cassette hubs are 130 mm so it might be tight but not too bad, and easy to spread the frame to get the hub in. The "cassette mount" is probably a freehub, and if you thinking of converting the wheel to ss you will need it. The relevant dimension is the lock nut, hence the dimension is 130 mm OLN (over lock nut)
Tell us what that dimension is so we can advise some more.
Hi,
Recently purchased a Graham Weigh track/road Reynolds 653 frame to learn about building a single speed & bikes. I have a question ref wheels/hubs & frame spacing. Apologies if this has been asked before.
The frame space looks to be 128mm, I have a pair of MAvic CXP22 wheels taken from my old road bike. The rear hub still has the cassette mounts (?) on the hub and is too wide for the frame.....
What's the easiest & cheapest way to convert these wheels to fit the frame? Would I need to have a new hub fitted to the wheels or is it best to buy some wheels already set up for the frame?
cheers
