first of all she is a Pogliaghi...

I have a Pogliaghi and love it.

Does that make a bike with SL tubing and 600 worth £800 though?

I'd want DA and SLX for that.

I have no idea what prices are like. The Pogliaghis made by Dante Pogliaghi himself are collectors' items (mine is a much later frame).

Ooh very nice! This is the first time I've seen a pogliaghi for sale here and I'm not surprised the price is at that sort of level - they are much sought after.

I too have a post-Sante Pogliaghi frame and it was well worth the £180 I paid for it many years ago (with campag NR groupset). It's been my favourite bike for a long time.
