Just did some research into rake and how it affects handling.
Looks like the increase in rake will cause a decrease in trail, leading to sharper handling, as will the increase in headtube angle from the reduced axle to crown height (which I'd already worked out).
Makes sense when you know how it works!
So unless anyone can suggest better, the Trigons it is!
