Ed is deaf, and dyslexic. As far as authorities on the matter go, I think he has trumps.
He also manages a decent standard of spellings and grammar, as well as having an entire thread dedicated to his written mannerisms.

That topic still exist?

think we're up to 200 and still going stong!

Cool. Good for him. I know a family where both the parents are deaf, had been since birth and the children are hearing. They have difficulty understanding some hearing literature, as do a section of the deaf community... apparently. My sis went out with their oldest son...
Unless of course they were just pulling my leg, which is entirely possible. o_0

andrewguest doesn't have the idiosyncratic grammar which is often the give-away that a person is writing in ESOL. Apart from speaking like an ill educated 12-year old trying to look tough, there's not much wrong with his sentence structure. Everything which is wrong with his written English could be fixed easily and quickly if he could be bothered to address us in a civil fashion.

A civil fashion? Fuck off. This is the fucking forum.

Some people get all hight and mighty to new folkes on here. Pisses me off. This isnt a rugby club, there isnt an initiation. Oh, your new here, Im going to take you to the cleaners. Fuck sake. The chap is selling some nice frames, had people been a little nicer maybe he would sell some more stuff later on, meet some people and get involved. Instead, he is going to sell his frames then fuck off thinking (rightly in this case) what a bunch of cunts.

he is going to sell his frames then fuck off
That was his original plan. He clearly states he has no interest in contributing to the forum in any way. You say it like he's doing us a favour selling them here, he's here to avoid ebay fees.
Guess it depends on your point of view.

He dose say that, but, Testers full on rant about him was really unjustified. I just get anoyed with everyone flaming new comers. This isnt Royston Vasey.

We each have our pet peeves, yours seems to be the flaming of noobs, mine is the disrespect indicated by the wilful failure to write properly, but it doesn't bother me enough to generate a full-on rant, just a little playful sarcastic pedantry.

That didnt look like 'playful sarcastic pedantry'. Why do you think his 'failure to write properly' was wilful? My posts are compleatly littered with spelling mistakes. I dont have the google spell checker required to use it on the forum so dont bother. I know you wernt being 'playfuly sarcastic' with my spelling, writing, or posting. Maybe this is because I post on here quite a lot? Are you saying, had today been my first day you would have taken me down? It just seems unnesesary (as, to be fair, my rants at you also was).

anyway, here's a pic!
going to put some nice old battered but smoothly working 9 speed Shimano Dura Ace bits on this one to replace the crap and totally unusable for CX Campagnolo bits that are on it now :-)

Finished my new ride a couple of weeks ago. It's a dark blue Pristine Super Vetta frame (I live near Amsterdam) built up mostly with BLB stuff, H+SON rims and a Nitto bar. Installing the brake was a bit of an issue because of the limited clearance. I decided to file a bit off the calliper, which worked out fine. I also recommend everyone not to try mounting a right pedal on a left crank arm. Fortunately the guys at Pristine could repair the thread. I am planning to replace the tyres (they're too black in my opinion). It's a fast bike that responds directly. Unfortunately, the rainstorms here force me to use my old mudguarded Giant (also fixed) for cycling to work.

Maybe not, but if you have no idea that it exists....
Our thinking patterns are structured upon the language and its grammar that we have been brought up with, meaning that as a person learns a new language, they not only learn the words, but the structure to fit them within. Its the same with none spoken languages, except for the fact that the deaf will have difficulty understanding the spoken language grammar, because the thinking behind it is different.
Anyone who knows better, please correct me, as I'm starting to flounder due to lack of understanding and alcohol intake...! :D
