I understand your point and I do dislike how everything looks like a massive future-spaz sainsburys now but what's the realistic alternative? We need a new stand for all our Safa-cravenites and Aussie-cottagites.
One improvement that you might like is that the walkway along the river will be reconnected, you currently have to walk around the ground (which although it is my favourite part) is a pain.
