But that's for a front, not a rear.
Other than for theft prevention there's no reason not to have QR on the front.
On the rear there isn't going to be any difference between that and a QR surely? In fact I'd have thought a QR was better because you should be able to get it tighter by using the leverage of the handle.
As for the question - yes you can convert the axle. But I don't know where you'd buy them.
After building up a small flange/deep v front wheel combo over the winter, road hubs that are low flange are super cheap but all q/r, can they be converted to run a solid bolt axle or even one of the allen key head styles??
Or should i just htfu and buy BLB hubs?
