The Raleigh frames are made from Reynolds 531 C, steel forks, stays and butted frame tubes.
Ti Raleigh part comes from the TI Group plc (formerly Tube Investments) which was a holding company for specialised http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engineering companies, Raleigh Industries joined the group in 1960 and this was reflected in the "Ti Raleigh" decals of the top of the range SBDU (special bicycle development unit) frames.
They are not Ti as in titanium tubing.
This is a Ti Raleigh !
