Hoxton!?
Newington Green you mean -
• #5254
Ha, finally! That's the end of my road. You can't believe how hard I had to resist claiming it!
MGS is definitely Newington Green, or to be historically accurate, Mildmay.
The other half has some info on the artist, I'll try to remember to come back and provide it. Before this there was a horse drawn by Stewy's Stencils:

This wall is actually an old public toilet, apparently in the 80s it was a choice cottaging venue.
Stewy also does some rather awesome foxes:

ooh, meant to say: the big green telephone has gone
(this sounds like some sort of code, but it's not. I forget who tagged the giant phone in Hackney a few months ago- I think it was for sale? well, the owner must have found a buyer because it's not there anymore. though you might like to know) -

Nice one Fox. Always wondered who did that and the horses and squirrels around the area. And the monkeys.

attention grey squirrel, the big green telephone has gone. repeat: the big green telephone has gone. the sleeping uncle has triggered a helvetica scenario. you know what to do grey squirrel.

I can't belive this was two minutes from home, i went miles away yesterday looking for it... found many different ones, but not the one i needed.
BTW David, Stewy made more animals then you mentioned. There's a dog by our doorstep.

New: Only a stone's chukka from a well known venue.
Ha, just worked it out, clever clue.
I hope I never have to go there. -
• #5264
By that i meant the building's usual purpose! Obviously for bike tag it's ok, might get a chance this afternoon.

• #5265
what's with this beginners tag?
-
• #5266
Yeah there's loads of Stewy stuff along Essex road, I especially like the lil squirrel guys. And there's a pitbull stencil on a small wall near my house which is where the local drunks sit with their pitbulls.
The tag on Cross street was him too, now painted over :(

this tag is the BBC's blue peter garden wall featuring presenters past and present and visible from hammersmith park
(not taken from the exact position as Oat44's but the park is locked at dusk.)
