Think the red looks good.

I think the red looks ace! make sure there isn't any more red though, apart from the frame. No red chain, pedals, chainrings, straps, saddles and not red tyres. Or valve caps.

Obviously it will fuck your budget, but I'd suggest investing £20 on[URL="http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/SPPXSLT3D/planet_x_superlight_team_3d_forged_alloyseatpost"] this PX seatpost.
In silver it will look fine with the build. It's fairly light and has a good clamping mechanism. Happy to be proved wrong, but I don't think you could do better for the money. Even better would be finding a 2nd hand one.

maybe....

I'd say that as a general rule matching reds is a bad idea as it is a hard colour to match well.
However, from the limited photos it looks ok. Really need to see the whole thing in it's entirety tho. Personally with that bartape and frame I'd have gone for silver, blue or gold (not necessarily in that order).

Yeah, the reds are a bit different... I'll get a full photo up soon.
I have a roll of silver tape that I might give it a go.

That rear stay is probably the sexiest thing I've seen on the internet without alerting my ISP.

Stunning (as ever) nacnud.
I'd have thought silver Benotto tape would be perfect?

cheers man, having taken it for a ride and fucked the already seemingly fucked cranks Im looking for a new RH crank+52t chainring, so will be worrying about spending on seatpost after thats sorted!
well annoying.

Its a track frame. super vigorelli, reynolds 725, close clearance (some toe overlap). With a fork crown for a standard drop brake.

Form =/ function.
I edited that so it makes a bit more sense now...
Not sure if I like the red tape or not
