baz, seriously.. you may need to work at least 10 years before getting any sort of recognition in this job, if i was your boss, i'd want you to invite me to a one-to-one staff review to discuss in private as suggested and talk about that positives and your contribution to the firm etc, not spout off on this forum or make heavy demands.
ffs in my career (architecture) you are just fodder and someone will jump in for less and take on more, quit whining, work towards your efforts and bigger goals, look about for other opportunities before commiting words, cos you might be rewarded with a P45.. good luck
