I'll resurrect this thread for a minute.
Surly are over-priced and not good, right? I am trying to figure out what would be the best disc front hub. I am not willing to pay several hundred for a Chris King nor would I really want to go DT Swiss either. With those two bad boys ruled out, what would be the next best thing? Just get a Deore XT hub? I've understood even Halo might not be worth buying.
