Also new to site and have a Peugeot - PE1000 which I am in the middle of converting to ss with flip/flop rear Halo aerotrack wheel. Inspired by lots of the bikeporn on the site and will be doing something retro with it, will look to post some before and after shots.

Hi there, I've got a mint green, decal-less, lugged steel frame with mavic open sport rims and pink anodised hubs; for I am a classy lass. SS neither fixed nor clipped but sport some DHB SPDs.
Would love to go to one of the meetups but unfortunately have class in the evenings and work on Sundays so shall just have to hope to crash one of the randomised ones. -

Hi
New to membership, old to cycling ss in london and to the site.
Looking for a pic of a Bob J Vulcan Fixed that's been built up, rather than the frame only shot on his site. Hoping to turn one into serious porn this year, but need to see the frame angles properly first in case it is anti only. Even BJ themselves don't seem to have pics of any complete builds. It's the only thing i've ever foxed google with. HELP!

Hi all. How do I load up a pic onto the site? The bike is now finished and I'd like to it put up on the forum.

Here is a step by step to uploading pics
If you want to show your bike off you should put it in the 'current projects' thread or the 'names and faces to bikes' thread :)

i've been building up fixies from old racers for a little while now but have stuck to jap/english frames due to the ease of sourcing components. looking for a challenge , I have purchased a " decathlon " frame , its french and i believe it to be early 80's , the frame came with a bottom bracket installed , it looks to be of cottered style but i havent got a clue , its 68mm wide on my calipers , i think it's ISO ( 13mmx13mm tapered) theres a picture here
basically i want to replace/ rebuild it as its nearly 30 years old ! sourcing french parts is harder than i anticipated as i assumed they would be campy ( naive of me) .. any advice is welcome on sourcing one or rebuilding :) thanks

Hey i've been reading on here for ages but not really posted.
Just started riding fixed as my commuter, bought one of the on-one macinato frames on offer and built the rest up over a couple of weeks. Just tweaking the gear ratios as i go along but enjoying it so far.

Hello Guys and Gals,
I've just signed up to the site; and thought I'd introduce myself!
I'm a Road Cyclist (not Fixed) and sometimes MTB XC biker. My Daughter is also a cyclist; and lives near Richmond with her partner, who just happens to be a keen cyclist with a single drive cog on his commuting mount! I live 27, miles north of Cardiff at the foot of the Brecon Beacons, age 63 + but still love putting in a few miles on the road bike; and sometimes in Richmond park (when visiting my daughter and her partner) if I have to! Beautiful area actually. Anyhow, hope to become part of your community; and play an active part in some of your interesting discussions.
Here's a photo of my latest acquisition : >
