Android phones, apps and tablets

Recommend me a basic Android handset with an awesome battery life- going to be used as the "Cycling Phone" and therefore needs to run GPS for ~4 hours without going flat, and still be able to make a call at the end.

Other than that, it does not need to be able to do that much.

I used my Desire and My Tracks to record a ride for the first time today. Moving time 4h 30, total recording time 5h 38. I then played with it a bit on the train home, but it was about to go flat after half an hour so I turned it off. I also used it once or twice to check where I was on the map to confirm directions during the ride.

It's actually just over a year old, so the battery has been recharged c. 365 times. This seems to bode well for you, but you would probably break one like all your other HTCs ;)
