Amazon dropped their price to £280, then put it up again a few days ago. Prices are almost certainly going to drop a bit further as they shift the TF101 stock before the TF201 (Prime) comes out. Unless you're in a rush I'd buy in Jan if it isn't a Christmas present, or in a week or two if it is.
They are announcing pre-orders for the Prime next month for delivery in early Jan, according to the Asus UK twitter.
