• Does it barspin?

  • good grief.

it's like the final days of sodom on planet phixxxay.

  • Yes FAM! Still for sells?

It think it's lovely when fgXfs goes all sustainable and shit - recycled frames with low carbon footprint.

  • at least if that bike had some carbon on it might go some way to justifying the price tag.

True, except for those stickers, they must have treated with some crazy chemicals to make em waterproof.

  • at least if that bike had some carbon on it might go some way to justifying the price tag.

    It £23.70 per sticker.

  • no offence to the OP, but why do people think they can build a bike, then tot up what it cost them on parts and sell it for the total?

It's mental. £450 would get you an OTP (less stickers, but with a warranty) and it wouldn't look like a home made conversion

  • there is carbon in the stickers, it's worth the cash monie$

  • He's just trolling. The flames were so high the first time he tried to flog this on here he deleted the thread. (I presume, it's gone anyway) You'd have to be hugely dumb to bother again a few weeks later.
Anyway, as indicated on the original thread, I have a phobia of stickers. Overlooking the bottom of the range parts and bottom of the canal frame the plastering of stickers everywhere is liderally making me gag.
Listen, ugh uggh eurgh (Gagging right there).

  • liderally

  • And whilst I'm here :"as you may know that brands like Reynolds 531, Mavic, Campagnolo and Tokyo Fixed are all at the top of their competition."
NO ! You BOUGHT the bits from Tokyo Fixed ! They do not make Kalloy,DMR, Andel etc and whereas they are lovely fellas the bargain basement parts * you've bodged on to that frame are not improved by you paying a bit more for them.

*I have a Kalloy seat post. I mean it's just a seatpost and it's cheap and if I ever need a lead pipe in a real life game of Cluedo a couple of twists and I'm all tooled up. But you CANNOT get your money back on it. Not even liderally.

  • pretty expensive to be honest, £250-300 max I'd says be reasonable.

    even that much?

i need to sell on my old beater then!

  • £250 max if I'm being kind.

re-read the description again, it's not worth £300.

  • split the bike.
and send the parts far from each other.
lets make sure we never have to see this again.
it will help keep us sane
