Took him 300hrs to make the frame and including the integrated seat post weighs just 1215g. I get access to a garage from thurs and think I'm might have a go at some (much simpler) carbon at some point. Forks first I think. Will post when/if I actually do.
What a fucking waste of time

I think that frame is interesting more from a structural point of view, but can see a lot of flaws in his design even if he was gonna stick with the carbon tube scaffold style. But yes, it is kind of a waste of time as his carbon fiber lugged and tubed frame weighed in at 1260g!
Guess I shouldn't have posted it as porn really... shuffles off

It would take me 3.00 seconds to put the finishing touches to that with a lump hammer.

Would be amusing to watch! He also does bamboo bikes, if anyone wants go with an axe?! :D
Nah, just found his site as I was looking up DIY carbon frames. Although it would take some research to get the theoretical knowledge for the carbon matrix layout and time to prepare a mold properly, the actual process doesn't look impossible at all. Just time consuming and finicky. -

True though, even at minimum wage, 300h work gets you a complete PX Nano with half-Red.

+1 I particularly like the amber walls adding a certain air of retro goodness. I likes it.
In other news, I saw this atop a motor at a cyclocross race I was at yesterday. It appealed to me as it was far from perfect a bit battle scarred, rusty and looking every bit as old as it should. Don't fancy riding it off road with one gear though :)

yeah I don't get every living frame maker needs to do a pursuit frame these days :/
but pellizoli says that they can do a non pursuit version if requested.I really liked the superb sprint (wich isn't very original too, a cannondale track copy), but I don't know much about the frame maker...

Yeah, I guess that Mash was really the first...
I like'm and that Pelizolli build makes sense too (except for bar angle). Nice stash of pron in the background!
