@citygent: I thought about modern components, but it's set up for SA 3 speed, which means weird spacing and no derailler hanger. If I'm going to get 27"/3 speed wheels, I might as well go all out, as that's most of the bike right there.
I guess I'm only really interested in period-correct rather than all original.
EDIT: Actually I just checked it, and it's 126 spacing in back. Deraillers here I come?
